Frequently Asked Questions

We need to determine the location of where we will be flying to answer this question. After you request a flight, we will determine if their are any restrictions in place that would delay or prevent us from flying such as the class of airspace we would be operating in or temporary flight restricitons issued by the FAA.

We can fly up to 400 feet above ground level. If we are flying within 400 feet of a structure, we can fly up to 400 feet above that structure's immediate uppermost limit. Most of our flights operate under 200 feet above ground level.

Before each flight, we will need additional time to setup and perform a pre-flight checklist. Expect this to take 20-30 minutes, however this time varies by location and may require more time for complex flights. From takeoff to landing, each flight could last around 30 minutes.

At this time, we do not fly over people or moving vehicles.

At this time, we do not fly at night. We will fly between morning civil twilight (30 minutes before official sunrise) to evening civil twilight (30 minutes after official sunset).

If your flight is delayed, we will call the point of contact listed on your flight plan as soon as possible.

Generally, photos and videos are delievered digitally within 24 hours. If requested and if you remain on-scene with the pilot, unedited photos and videos can delivered on-scene when the pilot is finished flying. You must provide a USB flash drive with sufficient capacity (we recommend at least 32GB of storage). Please note the transfer may take up to 30 minutes to complete due to large file sizes and slow transfer speeds.

The best way to request a flight is by filling out the request flight form. As soon as you submit the form, we are immediately notified of your request. You can reach us by phone to request a flight, however we may be unable to answer if we are out flying, so don't hesitate to leave a voice mail.
